Poker strategy is nothing but a sequence of pre-determined approaches for a particular hand. Poker strategy is not the same and is not a structured formula, it is an approximated approach based on probabilities of winning. Poker strategy is designed based on the following considerations:- • The type of game that is played. The variant of game played is quite important to be considered, for a same set of starting hands, the approach in Texas may not be valid or viable in Omaha. Every game kind employs a different poker strategy for the winning. You need to vary your approach considering the game you are playing. The starting hands play a key role in determining the winning hands of the player. The more of the privacy of a particular hand lies in the pocket hard. If one is getting a very good starting hand, then the rest of the games can be easily focused for winning rather than just trying to decide to either play or not. It is always fine to learn about what are the playable starting hands, per poker strategy? It is also mandatory to discard the rest of the cards if they are not worth being played. More number of players in the table increases the complexity of the game with regarding to poker strategy and trends. However, if you are in a late to act position in such a table and you have a good hand to play, you can make the most out of a big table. It is also going to be complicated to do some bluffing in a big table than in a shorthanded table. Early position should be played with utmost thought and caution. The late position is preferred by many because it might be easy to gather the host of information about all players before we bet. If not a late position in betting at least a middle position is better. Poker strategy varies largely based on position. The nature of the players like tight aggressive- TAG; tight passive –TPV; Loose aggressive- LAG; Loose passive – LPV should also be considered. Because the nature of the players has a lot to do with the way you can proceed with a particular poker strategy in any table. Above all you bankroll determines the poker strategy in terms of the amount you can bet and the amount you can tolerate to loose! |
