The value for the wild cards in poker is going to differ based on what the user wants.  In other words, any card in poker that is declared as the wild card can be replaced for any value or any suit that the player wants to make a hand.  In most cases the wildcards in poker are replaceable for all kinds of values that the player needs, but in some cases the value that is allotted to the poker wildcard in poker is pre-determined by the dealer of the table.

 

For instance, they may declare 7 as a wildcard or in some cases they can declare a card with a specific suit to be a wild card and for that card the player can allot any value they need to make a hand. Or in some cases they might say that the wildcards are applicable for just face card values or in some cases they can also fix the wildcards in poker to be replaceable for low card ranks from 1 to 5 and so on.  Wildcards in poker has no limitations of specific set of rules with regards to value replacement, but it is all at the liberty of the players at the table and their acceptable.

The value for the wildcards in poker is to be declared by the dealer before the game begins.  The values of the wildcards in poker cannot be changed at any point in time as the game is progressing. The joker is a natural wild card that comes with the 52 deck card, but joker is eliminated from common use because they think that the presence of poker eases up the game.  

Wildcards in poker are comfortable when the player has the liberty of being able to replace any value for the card, it is exciting and anyone that gets the wildcard in hand is going to feel luck.  But when wildcards are used, the games complicates to multifold in guessing the odds and outs in community board games because we might not be sure about what the player is raising about. Because, only the player knows the value that he has used to replace for the wildcards in poker to work towards a poker hand.  It is for this reason that wildcards seem complicated and is not used in most poker events because it complicates the mathematical calculation to a major degree. Using wildcards can create a lot of varying challenges in any poker variant it is used in.
